Check the Volume Control (yellow icon, bottom right of screen) to see if anything is muted.
No sound when play .mp3 and .wav
Yesterday I wanted to play a music in .mp3 format with MediaPlayer.
But there was no sound came out, also for .wav format.
I tryed to play the same format (.mp3 and .wav) with WinAMP, but it aldo didn't work.
I have done nothing, didn't install new software.
Can somebody help me please ?

and check the sounds and audio options in control panel too, to check everything is alright .. like ... no conflicts, properly installed drivers (if something screws tht up incase) .. u should also check the directsound in directx options ... directx diagnosis.
Not mute.
The problem occurs when I play .mp3, .wma, .avi
I have no problem with .mid, .rm, .rmvb.
