I have no sound, I restarted my computer earlier, got the blue screen of death, rebooted again, and then a bubble popped up that detected new hardware, my sound card, tried to find software for it, and failed.

I went into devices manager, and there is a yellow exclamation point that says "multimedia audio controller" next to it.

I tried downloading audio drivers from the website of my motherboard manufacterer, but that didnt work

Some computer info:
Main Circuit Board b
Bus Clock: 200 megahertz
BIOS: Phoenix Technologies, LTD 6.00 PG 09/30/2005
Drives Memory Modules c,d

Hi, welcome to TSF.

Have you tried a System restore to before this happened?

If that doesn't help:

Download and run Everest.
That program will produce a list of what's inside your computer.
In Everest press Computer - then Summary. Save the report as plain text. Please post back, with that report as an attachment.
