Welcome to TSF.

It's a desktop, correct?
The missing 180MB of RAM are probably used by onboard graphics.

I can't find any info about the Advent-7 motherboard.
Download and run Everest.
That program will produce a list of what's inside your computer.
In Everest press the "Report" menu - then "Quick report - All pages > Plain text.
Save the report. Please post back, with that report as an attachment.

How to post an attachment.

One speaker sound only

I seem to be having another problem with the sound which is when i restart my windows the volume properties have the speaker to one(right) side only.I adjust it so that it comes in the middle and both speakers have the sound but the same happens when i shut down and restart the computer.
What am i doing wrong ?
my computer are attached

I thought you said it's OK once you adjust it???
The driver is rather old (and hard to find ). If the sound is fine after you adjust it - that's not a big issue, IMHO.

A solution would be to get a separate sound card.
