Hi,
Everyone iam new here, and don't know much about computers.well i have HP PAVALLION DV 2000 the sound was fine 10days before, while removing programs from ADD/REMOVE accidently i had removed HIGH DEFINATION AUDIO PROGRAM from in it.since then no sound, and i checked all possible ways as stated in stickies, still no luck.In device manager sound games and controller there is yellow warning sign on
MICROSOFT UAA FUNCTION FOR HIGH DEFINATION AUDIO CONXANT WAKIKI.and there is code 10 and it says THIS DEVICE CANNOT START

Even i roll back driver no luck, restore still same issue, checked in properties
driver is working properly.even tried to install driver still same.its showing
SNDVOL32.EXE.is executed and need to install.I checked this in 1386 folder and did not find it. search in dilcahe folder which i dont have.I had followed all instruction given in forums.learn lots of things which was unknown to me,now only one thing is there i don't have window xp cd to get back sndvol32exe back.Or is there anything else which i skip to perform? any help would be appreciated.thanks in advance.

Hi,
This is not related to your NSIS Error, but I took a quick look at your report and you should see in the device manager 3 more errors for base system device. You need to install the CARD READER Driver here:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...n&cc=us&lang=en&os=228&product=1817074&dlc=en

As far as the NSIS Error, what program are you trying to install and where did you get the program from (CD, the web, etc.).

May be there is something wrong with window installers i guess.Any help would be appreciated.thanks in advance.

Hi,
Yeah i know Mr bill that was not related to nsis error, what i mean was it did the job to remove base driver error.thanks once again.

To eneles. Is this service pack 3 is much better than 2,because i heard 2 is very good.Do i have to burn this content in cd then install sp3?or is there any guide,or step by step procedure to do this? any input would be appreciated.thanks in advance.
