I have no power.Replaced power supply. No result.Power supply fan still does not work.Removed keyboard, mouse, all components.Nothing.I checked the new power supply on another computer, and the fan works. What's wrong?
An ATX power supply expects input from the mobo before it will fire up. Hook the PS back on the system that does not work, and short the two pins on the mobo that normally connect to the "PWR" switch. It might be as simple as the switch, it might be a junk mobo. If the PS fan starts up after shorting the pins, replace the switch. if not- please post for other options.
