hi i own a sony vaio vgn-fs790 laptop, the pc suddenly does not want to power on. i checked the contunuity on the dc jack and it is getting power to the motherboard. when i attempt to turn it on i only get a blinking yellow battery light on the front. it's very odd, the screen was working fine but now theres just no power action when i turn on the juice.

Have you tried removing the battery and running on AC power?
