hmm
see if you can create a shutdown shortcut....
right click on your desktop and choose "new" then "shortcut"..
enter the folling text into the "target" line:
C:\WINDOWS\RUNDLL.EXE user.exe,exitwindows
name the shortcut "Shutdown" or something like that... this may work for now....
at least so you dont have to leave it running or shut it off without properly shutting down windows...
although, i use this and have since i learned how to make it...
it's way faster using this shortcut...
and, i think if you enter it into the run part of the start bar it works there too. i know it worked when i dropped it into my internet explorer address bar...
