After buying a new case, I decided to get to work and transfer everthing to the new case. After finishing, I went to turn it on, and it seemed to start, but nothing was displaying on my monitor. After trying a few things, it ended up beeping multiple times after it had gone into a BIOS ROM checksum error screen. It also says "detecting IDE ATAPI device...", then it goes into "detecting floppy drive A media..."

Then it goes into a series of annoying beeps, and says "Drive A error. System halt."

I have no A drive on this PC and I never have, so I dont see why that would be an issue.

Hi,

Clear CMOS and when it boot back up load system defaults and also make sure that the A: drive is not in the boot search order in the BIOS setup menu. Don't forget to save before you exit and let us know what happens when you do this.
