My old Maxtor harddrive decided to die on my, so i have bought a new 160GB hitachi deskstar.
Everything seems to be fine although, when i run Spybot i get this message coming up when its running the scan, saying thre is no disk in the drive, (picture below)

it keeps doing to no matter if i click continue, try again or cancel, if i click cancel orcontinue it carries on with the scan but shows up again. alot.
I know nothing about harddrives really, please help!

[EDIT: it's an IDE drive if that matters]

Hi,

I doubt this is a problem with your hard drive - more a configuration issue with SpyBot.
This thread has been moved to the Security center.

I did download it, seems i get the problem other times too, not often though, like when i installed my grapics drivers (which were downloaded too)
