No Bluetooth

Hi, I'm runníng win 7. I can't establish a bluetooth connection to my iphone. I have the driver, I've checked the status and it's up to date. I can't dowload a new driver, it won't allow it because it is "up to date"! But there is no bluetooth connections and the computer will not discover my phone. Something is obviously corrupt but even after I remove the driver and reboot, the same thing happens. Any suggestions?

We should also ask, what are you intentions of connecting the iPhone to the PC via Bluetooth? To play music?
