Hello everyone:

I have a problem with my Gigabyte 8i845gvm-rz. I installed the audio drivers (latest version) and I have no audio. In the Device manager everything is ok. I don't have any other audio devices installed and my audio device is placed as default in the Control Panel.

Someone told me that using a jumper somewhere in the motherboard u can fix the problem, but I don't remember where exactly. Do u know something about it?

I already tried different speakers and headphones, the volume is also ok, and the sound is enable in the bios. I'm plugging in the rear.

Any help?

Check your motherboard manual for the jumper information.

Thanks for your help, I already have sound on my PC. I put the two missing jumpers and done.
