Hi all, perhaps you could help. I have read a lot of posts recommending pricewatch for buying barebones machines. Most say "assembled". are they? Am looking at xp2200 + asus a7v333. I'm not a gamer, so won't be overclocking or anything. Are the bios already upgraded to match the cpu speed? Not sure if I am up to this flashing bios stuff. Also, older mobo bios specs say wake on keyboard & mouse. Newer ones don't. Do all newer boards come with mouse wakeup?

Gee I would think that if their selling you the motherboard with the processor installed that it would be all set to go.

Call the people who are selling it and ask them just to make sure......................

Thanks for the reply Speedo. I was just wondering if they really are shipped assembled. I understand some places say "assembled" but just put it together to make sure everything fits, then take it apart to ship. Not sure about this thermal paste & proper pressure to seat heat sink stuff. Sounds like it would be easy to mess up. Know anything about this wake with mouse or keyboard? Newer boards say wake on lan or ring, but not keyboard or mouse. Been reading stuff, but haven't done it. Have always received good advice & responses from this forum,so I'm sure I will be able to muddle thru. Guess I'll call some of these places...Thanks
