Has anyone ever heard of the jdbgmgr.exe virus? (the one with the teddy bear?) I've gotten an email from a friend and an org. I used to work with to delete it.

The email message is a fake, that's a valid Windows file, it's for JAVA support. You should take virus warnings that are passed on for months with a grain of salt.

Thank you for clarifying that -- what are the effects on a computer if a person should have deleted the file?

Some part of JAVA stops working, I forget the exact thing. You can do a search on the file name and find details, and probably a place to obtain the missing file. :)
