looking to build a new rig and was considering these options -

processor: i5 750 -

how does all this seem? budget is strictly AU$600..

any of you guys have any suggestions to improve the specs without a price increase?

for the video card i would be using my Asus 9600 GSO (512MB) which i brought just two months back (which is why i opted to go for the Asus motherboard in my new rig)

as for the PSU, i was thinking of going for an el-cheapo PSU due to my budget restrictions or use like the ones that would come in any case which i decided to buy..:1angel:

i wish i could afford that right now.. budget is extremely tight which is why i chose the 400W

shouldnt the 400W be enough for now? i mean whenever i plan on upgrading, i can get another PSU in any case..

If you can't afford the PSU that you need then I would suggest waiting until you do.
Using an under powered PSU is putting your other expensive hardware in jeopardy.

yes in fact i was thinking along the same lines as well.. maybe i might wait for a few months before making my purchase.. and by that time maybe the parts i am interested in will drop in price a bit as well :grin:
