I think first of all that 8 gig is overkill, 4 gig should be fine for that rig.

In addition, take the money from the Ram that you don't need and put it on a good power supply = http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...9005&cm_re=corsair_650-_-17-139-005-_-Product, because the one you have chosen is not the quality that you want.

You might want also to let us know what you are doing with this rig, because if you are in to gaming, you might want to purchase a more powerful video card than you have selected, so please pass that information along.

i agree with tumbleweed, also the 32 and 64mb cache on the western digital black hd have been know to out perform the raptor drives, and are also quieter

you also might want to look for a dx11 gpu like a 58xx series card

With that video card, you might want to bump up your power supply to at least a 750 watt, and if you watch, some times they are only a few bucks more than the 650.

I also just noticed that you changed from an ASUS board to an EVGA motherboard....IMHO, a big mistake for this rig.

Well that board listed, is that a good board? The ASUS one. I know Mobos dont have as much influence in the smoothness of performance as much as other components do but they surely can be crap.
