New.net Problems and more spyware

God when will these companies just hang themselves.. Here is what I have done so far:

I ran AVG Virus scanner and deleted the infected files that it found so far... I ran cleanup, and Lavasoft as well as CWS-Shredder and Spywareblaster, and About buster. Since I am having firewall problems I am unable to download updates for all these programs and my internet connection keeps getting hijacked and reset by new.net I am assuming so I cant download the new versions until I get some help removing new.net.. Here is the log file. You guys are a diamond in the rough... thank you so much in advance:

Before attacking an adware/spyware problem with hijackthis make sure you have already run the following tools. Download and update the databases on each program before running.

Also make sure you are using the the latest version (1.99.1) of HijackThis and it's installed in it's own folder on the root drive. (C:\HJT)


Go to My Computer->Tools->Folder Options->View tab and make sure that Show hidden files and folders is enabled. Also make sure that the System Files and Folders are showing/visible.
Please make sure system restore is enabled by right clicking on My Computer and go to Properties->System Restore and check the box for Turn OFF System Restore and make sure it’s NOT checked. We want system restore ON and monitoring your current hard drive. Once your clean we will turn this off and then back on to remove the infection from the restore folder and create a clean restore point.

Reboot into Safe Mode (hit F8 key until menu shows up). Make sure to close any open browsers. Open add/remove programs and remove NewNet/NewDotNet.

Check and fix the following in HijackThis if they still exist (make sure you do not miss an entry)

Once it has finished save the activescan log. Then post that log in your next post along with a new hijackthis log.

Now Log

Thank you for your help guys.. Here is my new log file. Can you see anything that is still needing to be taken care of?

I am still having problems connecting to any site that changes to secure mode. Ie. I cant check emails, I cant download any updates, I cant access any pay sites to order stuff... Anyway heres the log.. thanks

Just curious about this:
Download LSPFix http://www.greyknight17.com/spy/LSPFix.exe and run it. Do you see any entries that begin with newdotnet...dll in the left pane?

Try the suggestions listed here to see if it takes care of the secure site access problem.
