This is my first time building a computer and I was wondering if someone could double check my work, all input is greatly appreciated.
Oh and do all motherboards come standard with all the cables necessary for the hookup?( If not can you tell me where to buy them at)

Ooops forgot this :( I r newb sorry, I want it to be uber max display settings kick *** if possible :(

Budget: 2.5k

Brands: Don't want Amd processor

Multitasking: Not really

Gaming: 24/7 Crysis, WAR, WoW, AoC, CoD 4, etc.

Calculations: Nope

Overclocking: No idea what this is but sure why not :)

Storage: Not much 250GB should be good

Legacy Support: No

Operating System: Vista (64bit)

Case: Sure as long as its cheap and reliable size doesn't matter (Kinda like me haha)

Accessories: Keyboard,mouse and screen

Recycled Components: nope :(

Monitor: 24"+ with 1080p HD :O

Stores: Tigerdirect, newegg sucks!

I personally would look for a more reliable motherboard ........... the Nvidia chipsets are very buggy ...... thats why Nvidia has abandoned the motherboard chipset market

I suggest you have a look at the Intel X48 chipset if you dont mind spending over $300.00 on a motherboard ? personally I dont think its required!

In your shoes with your budget I would look to the Gigabyte GA-EP45-DQ6 ....... it was voted best overclocker for the P45 chipset

case = antec 1200

dont forget after market cpu cooler

either Zalman 9700 or Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme (pay the extra $20.00 for the lapped one)

dont need and dont want the overpriced DDR3 memory ............ get Corsair Dominator PC2-8500 (2 x 2 gig sticks)
