New Computer Bought TODAY!!

I'm so ****ing excited, I'm ****ting my pants even now thinking about it! Getting the following:

AMD Athlon XP 2400+
Asus A7N266-VM nForce220D
Power Supply 400watt

with my current:

EIDE 80gig hdd
Chaintech GeForce 4 TI 4400
(2) 256mb PC2100 DDR RAM
TDK CD-RW 40x12x48

------------------------
Any other recommendations?.. Maybe with my next paycheck get the Pioneer DVD-RW for 300 bucks, heh heh heh! :winkgrin:

Congratulations on your new upgrade.

You may need to update the bios if the version of your motherboard doesn't support the 2400 CPU!

Hold off on the DVD purchase...there is no mainstream standard...there currently is DVD+RW and the DVD-RW there is a third one but it escapes me right now... I belive HP is winning but i forget which one they make...If you must have it the Sony is making or out with a DVD drive that does all three...and in the 300 price range...
