new computer boot

I just installed a new motherboard, processor, etc. and upon startup I am getting three long beeps on the system. Can anyone tell me what these beeps indicate....Iti s an intel motherboard and p4 processer. Thanks.......

Which do you have an ECS board or an Intel board?
