Tomorrow I'm getting my new ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler and ZALMAN ZM-MFC1 Fan Controller Panel. I also got 6 coolermaster 80mm cooling fans and an Aspire Discovery Case. I got a few questions. First, how should I remove the thermal paste from cpu? The Artic Freezer 7 comes with the thermal paste pre-applied. Second, where should I put some of the fans I got? 2 of them go in the front, that leaves me with 4. Is there anywhere else I could fit 1 or 2 more fans? Should the fan on the side of the case be blowing air into or out of the case?

i actually use zippo lighter fluid but you can use high-purity isopropyl alcohol or acetone and a bit of careful rubbing with a clean cloth to remove old paste or thermal pad.

As for the fan setup, rear fans sucking air out, front fans blowing air in, you can have a fan on top sucking hot air out , same deal for the side
