Just wanted to know if all these parts were compatible

(Any input on what i can exchange in order to lower the overall cost of the build is much appreciated also) thanks

The memory is not, your motherboard uses DDR4 and you've selected DDR3.

I would suggest using this site to build the list of parts as it will show incompatibilities and will be easier to link for people to see.

What is the primary purpose of the PC? I assume gaming given the GTX 970. With the new AMD and Nvidia cards coming out, you may want to wait on buying a new video card.

The EVGA 500 W1 is an entry level power supply. Alright for basic computing. Not one I'ld trust for extended gaming sessions.

Might drop the aftermarket cooler. Retail boxed processor comes with heatsink/fan assembly.

You also have a B chipset motherboard. This is normally fine, but I do like to see a Z chipset on gaming machines.

I have merged your two posts since they are on the same topic. Like I suggested earlier, you'd be much better off using PCPartPicker or one of the suggested builds in the post above.

In the second set of parts you have a socket 1151 processor but a socket 1150 motherboard.

If you could post your budget, what games you'll be playing and the resolution of your monitor it may help to assist in picking out parts.
