I have two computers. One is a desktop running Windows XP Service Pack 3; the other is a laptop running Windows Vista Ultimate. My internet connection is through a Comcast cable router. I have no problems connecting using either a wired or a wireless connection with the laptop. However, when I plug the network cable into the desktop it says "Limited or No Connectivity".

Reboot and go into the Bios and look under Onboard peripherals and make sure yoru onboard lan is enabled. If it is then go into the Device manager and click on the Network adapter. If it has a yellow mark against it, right click on it and select update driver.
