Hi all

I have my X-box connected to my PC via crossover cable and NIC. I know all the necessary IP adresses and the connection is working as I often use FlashFXP to connect to my X-box.

I want to set it up so that my X-box shows in the network neighbourhood and I can transfer files to and from it that way - is this possible?

I doubt it. Does the X-box have a FAT or NTFS file system!?!? Unless you've read it's possible somewhere ...

NTFS or FAT I think as I put a new hdd in it and formatted it as NTFS.

Huh. Ok. I've never done it. I guess the Xbox has some place to configure workgroup, account name, and password? This is what you have to do on a windows machine.
