I am looking for techniques to block specified network ranges using Local Security Policies OR Internet Protocol Security OR some similar method. What I do NOT want is directions on how to do this using a software based fw which doesnt use actual packet filtering.


Im working on build a win32 system.

The network ranges are various an example range would be 128.11.22.0 - 128.11.22.255 : Yahoo, Inc.

Ok, Im struggling with this maybe you can give me some more direction as to how I can accomplish this. I dont see how I should add network ranges such as:

128.11.22.0 - 128.11.22.255 : Yahoo, Inc.
OR
80.*.*.* : lahm #using the wildcard sign/character
