Heh, sorry, Was off in lala land.. ok ok, Not sure what that tutorial is all about, it's late and I'm just gonna roll with the idea that you're trying to set up a router? Going to need some information.. what OS are you running? Why version? What type of router? What address? The Network address, MAC address, house address? The short of it is, need more information from you.

Im trying to set up a Debian server on my old machine using that tutorial.

This is what my router a Netgear DG834GSP shows me:
ADSL Port
MAC Address 00:1b:2f:95:46:95
IP Address 81.107.199.207
Network Type PPPoA
IP Subnet Mask 255.255.255.255
Gateway IP Address 194.145.148.4
Domain Name Server 194.168.4.100
194.168.8.100

LAN Port
MAC Address 00:1b:2f:95:46:94
IP Address 192.168.0.1
DHCP On
IP Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0

But i dont know what to put into my Debian box or even how to set my router up for a static IP, all tutorials I find are realy confusing.
