Hi,
This is my first post so please bare with me
Ive currently got a problem with my network connection, just recently yesterday my network connection started to blink on and off at least once a second
When i noticed this i thought i might have had a problem with my cable or the cable wasnt plugged in properly, but it doesnt seem to be the case,i have tried it with another cable which i know works, i restarted my computer, after which my network settings dissapeared, and when i tried to create a new network setting, half the settings arent available, making it impossible to recreate the network connection, i was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem,
Could it likely be a virus or spyware? and if so how could i fix it

Let's start with some basic information.

Make/model of the broadband router and/or modem. Version and patch level of Windows in use.

Let's also see this:

For 98 or ME, Start, Run, COMMAND to open a DOS window:

For 2K or XP, Start, Run, CMD to open a DOS window:

Type the following command:

IPCONFIG /ALL

Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter.
