Network Connection problem 2 of 3 working

769 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  2xg
Hi.

I recently moved my computer into my new home office.

I transfered my modem, linksys router, and Hiport (t-mobile) adapter.

I have 3 computer on my home network. The main computer works, with internet as well as one of the wireless connections for a laptop. The third laptop is having problems.

When I loose my connection, I unplug and reset my system. First the modem, then the router, and finally the adapter.

I have also done a command prompt, relasing and renewing my ip address.
When IE has connection problem, it comes up with "Cannot communicate with Primary DNS server (192.168.29.1), it repairs and than comes to a security issues concerning "windows firewall/query user."

I can get 2 of the 3 working, but it seems like I have to reset my Modem/router/adapter at least once a day. Please help :4-dontkno

The Adapter is connected to the router, and my phoneline has not been working since the transerfer. Any help with that would be awesome as well.

Hello and Welcome to TSF!

From the wireless computer pls. run Xirrus Wi-Fi Inspector
Here's a more detail guide => Double click on the xirrus icon on your desktop of if you have one running in a corner, just click on it. Tap the Printscreen key on your keyboard, open up Paint then choose Edit from the Menu and select Paste, then SAVE it. Upload and attached it here, click on Go Advanced and locate Manage Attachments Tab and attached the file.
