Hi, I have a problem with my laptop not detecting my network card. It was working perfectly fine until I uninstalled Norton 360 earlier today. Now I cannot get a wireless or wired connection. If I look in device manager I cannot see my network card. I'm using a Netgear DG834G modem/router.

What is the make/model of your laptop?

Reinstall the drivers for the network card.

Hi, the laptop is a HP Pavilion TX1000. I've tried to do several system restores, a computer repair and re-install of the network card drivers but still not detection.

Open up the case and check and make sure that the cable is seated correctly
