trying to connect computer to our office network and keep getting error that says network cable unplugged. It is plugged in but i keep getting that message. Everything is installed correctly. I have unplugged cable and plugged into another machine and i can access our network and the net. I have tried using different network adapters to no avail. what else can I try. I am running XP Pro

hard to describe our system, we have 10 pc's connected to the system
I will give you the info best i can:

Sprint 645 DSL modem
Bay Network, Bay Stack 350T-HD 10/100 Autosense Switch
with 24 ports
Cisco 2600 Series Router.

Like I said, we have hooked another computer up to the cable and everything works fine. We tried putting the computer on another cable and get the same results. I have tried switching out the network cards and still get the Network Cable is unplugged error. Currently running Windows XP Pro w/service Pack II.

i tried hooking the computer up at a different location and still have the same problem. When i go into the device manager and check the network card it says that everything is ok, no conflicts. will take the computer home and hook it up to my DSL and try it there.
