I'd answer, but I have no idea what they did to it, or if it's usable on another network. I assume you tried going to Netgear and upgrading the firmware to a standard load?

Yeah I downloaded the latest firmware from netgear the tried updating from the routers cpanel with no success then tried netgears recovery utility with no success.
I jsut need another way of updating it that might work.

Sorry, I have no idea how you'd go about it. If you have access to hardware development tools, it probably has a J-Tag port that you can FLASH it from, assuming you have the firmware image.

It's not for the novice. Usually, you'll have to solder the connector onto the router's PCB, since they just leave the empty spot for it. :smile:
