I am using XP home with sp2. I have been using 321 studio's dvd xcopy platinum to burn dvds. My burner recently died ( 1.5yr old lg dual layer) and I installed a new TSST burner that came with Nero 6 express. After using nero to burn cd's I was unable to back up a dvd with x copy until I re installed the program. It seems as if Nero deleted the Patin-couffin drivers. Is there a solution to this, should I have the programs on different partitions or is everything likely to be OK now that the drivers have been re installed. Is this a common issue? I ran into a similar problem once before when a burning program hijacked my burner and wouldn't let any other program use it.
