Hi,

Windows Active Directory is new fruit for me so I have question about it's user management:

Is there a way to have local user and domain user at the same time on single machine? So that I could switch between them from windows log on screen?

If not, is there some alternative way?

thanks.

Sure, Log in as a user with local admin rights, say, domain admin.
Go to Control Panel, User Accounts\ Click on Manage Accounts and create one.
Make sure to give it a password.

Note the name of the computer

Log out of the admin account.

Click Ctrl-Atl-Del
In the username type
computer Name\Username you just created
in password, Password for that account

when you want back into the domain,
ctrl-alt-del then
you have to type domain name\username then domain password
