Need HP pavillion 4450 recovery discs

phone HP and ask them if they can send you free quick restore cd's if your unit is running windows 98 or 95 they more than likely cannot send you new ones because they do not support it anymore because M$ does not support them anymore

u might have to pay a S&H charge for them or even purchase the cd's themselves if your not eligable for free ones. good luck man

I called HP and they told me to buy an operating system from a retailer....

hmmmm.....typical answer "go out and spend some more money". Can you tell us what exactly happened ? maybe you dont need to reload ?
