I'm hoping that I'm posting this in the right section.
THe last week or so I've been encountering a problem when Windows XP loads.
When it gets to the desktop it's been coming up with this message.

Windows cannot find 'C:\WINDOWS\System32\System32.exe'. Make sure you typed the name corectly, and then try again. To search for a file, click start button, and then click Search.

Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Looks like virus activity...Do you have an antivirus program installed?

Did a search, found that it was a virus after all. Do a scan with an antvirus program, and then look at this page if you still receive the message on startup. Look at the registry keys it specifies to see if you have any (start->run->regedit).

Hope this helps
