Hi,

I just bought an MSI P55-GD65 motherboard and I can't get stereo mix from control panel show disabled devices. Show disabled devices is enabled but nothing shows up. I'm running Windows 7 64.

I've updated to the latest drivers and still nothing.

Under device manager I have a Realtek High Definition Audio with driver version 6.0.1.5898

Neither Camtasia nor Hypercam 2 can pick up any sound. However, Fraps records sound just fine. (???)

I'll buy another sound card if I have to...if anyone has a good one to recommend (although I've read that new driver versions for some creative labs sound cards have removed the 'what u hear' feature).

Is there a workaround?
Any tips?
3rd party drivers?
Software solutions?

Thanks in advance

Never mind. There is a stereo mix option now.

It wasn't there yesterday. The only thing I did today was reinstall camtasia studio and uninstall my nvidia 9600gso and install an ati 5770.

*shrugs*
