Need Help with Setting up Static IP's

Hi, I need help with a small business network I am setting up. I just got a Hughesnet Satellite Connection, with 5 Static IP's assigned. I need the Static IP's for an ADT DVR Surveillance System I am running along with 3 other PC's that have to talk to eachother for a SQL Database. Anyways I bought a D-Link DIR-655 Router, not sure if that was correct or not, btw all the PC's and DVR are wired, just wanted to have some wireless capabilities. So I was wondering what do I need to do to get the Static IP's assigned from Hughesnet to the PC's and DVR. Do I need different hardware or am I just setting it up wrong. What's the best way to do this setup, any help would be greatly appreciated. I haven't setup any networks in a long time, so I'm very rusty. Thanks in Advance!

Well, you need a different router to start. That router doesn't have the capability to deal with multiple WAN IP addresses. You'll have to be looking at business class routers for that capability.

I doubt you really want all those machines on public IP addresses anyway, way too exposed to all the bad things that happen on the Internet.

I would guess that your requirements can be met using a single IP address and port forwarding in the router for the DVR system. As far as the SQL database, do you need access to this over the Internet, or just locally between workstations?
