I installed a registry cleaning software on my computer, now I can not open any programs using icons, my computer runs very, very slowly and it freezes often. How can I fix this?

Try system restore.

Whenever you use registry cleaning programs, make a backup of your registry.

most registry programs do make backup some you have to tell to do it others you don't open the program and see if it has a restore if so use it to try to get back to where you were.
