So i bought a brand spankin new Toshiba A305-S6862 the stats:
Intel 2 Duo with 2Ghz
4GB RAM
2x 250GB Hard drives
windows Vista Pre-installed
I decided to do a dual boot setup with XP. So I went ahead and did that. After going on a crazy driver hunt for 5 hours, i am finally done but some problems still exist:
1)My Video/Display Driver is missing and is showing an error, I tried to reinstall...nothing works, its an intel chip thats all I know.
2) Windows update shows 7 updates but when try to install it gives me an error saying "Something in your PC is preventing the update", doesnt say what.
3) When I go into "Control Panel ---> Performance ----> System" it only shows 2.99 GB of ram....the laptop came with 4GB where did the rest go? What am I doing wrong here?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
