Need help with my Canon i850

Hi, I have had my Canon i850 for over a year now. It was working great. We just got a newer computer XP and now we are having trouble with the printer. Most of the time it doesn't respond. The little green light keeps blinking yellow. I have uninstalled and reloaded it a few times as well as checking the cables several times. Any ideas on how I can solve my problem? thank you, Rockie

Printer drivers are very sensetive for some reason. Uninstall your printer driver and reinstall it. During reinstall make sure nothingelse is running such as an internet explorer window or a notepad or word document. Nothing running but the driver installation. If you are not experirncing a physical problem with your printer swapping drivers should be the fix.

Download and install your drivers from the link above.

regards.
Hi Scott,

I tried all that you said and it is just not working. The link that you gave doesn't work for me as well. When I do download the i850 printer it tells me that the host is unknown even though I am getting it straight from Canon. Any other ideas?

Thank you,
Rockie
