My game system's mobo died recently (it was an Abit bx133-RAID P-III 933Mhz) so I'm in the market for a new system. What I'd like to replaced is the motherboard the CPU and the GFX card. Does anyone have any recommendations? I’d like at least a 2Ghz processor, but still up in the air about AMD or Intel. Also the 3D card, GeForce or ATI Radeon?

TIA

Depends on your budget to some extent but personally I would go the AMD route as they are often cheaper then Intel but still deliver great performance. I have a XP 2000+ which is clocked at 1.67GHZ so you would probably be looking at a 2400+ or something like that if you want around 2GHz. Regarding the Vid Card, I use NVidia but I am not an ATI basher, however, most things I read by people tend to say that they have less problems with the NVidia drivers. The GF4 ti 4200 is a great card fo rthe price, with most of them overclocking to ti 4600 speeds and beyond.
