OK i was trying to install windows xp home edition when i put in the poduct key it said "bad_pool_header" what do i do.

you have used this install disk before ? did the disk come with the PC or did you buy it new???

If you have any USB devices attached (including mouse/keyboard) try removing them while you install. If you haven't already you can also test your memory and hard drive to make sure there isn't a hardware problem we are missing.
