I messed up my computer and I need some help fixing it. First, I had my computer, it was windows XP and I had a ATI radeon for my graphics card. I was installing new drivers for my radeon and it said it had to uninstall the old drivers first, so it did that, then restarted. It froze starting up, I suspect because there were no video drivers. It wouldn't start in safe mode or anything either.

So, I took the hard driver out of my old computer and put it in the primary slot of this one and put my newer (but broken) hard drive in the secondary slot, and I can boot up now. I'm on windows 98 now and I can access everything from the broken hard drive, it just won't boot up...

So my question is, how can I fix the situation on my Win XP hard drive while booted up on the other? I want to get back onto WinXP because it runs smoother for me and has some built in accessories that wont work when I am using Win98.

Thanks.

ok

Okay thanks...just to confirm, I do this by switching the drive with XP back into primary and then going to the bios thing and telling it to boot from CD drive?
