is their another way to change computer security other than through control panel i downloaded Initial D second stage 03 but when i play it in windows media player it trys to download a codec when i have like ten on their already. when it's done dl it's says cant install because of security settings by the way this is a audio codec.

Welcome to the board,

I assume your using M.e. as your OS because its listed next to your name I know I'm a detective.. anyway, I was unaware that security existed in M.e. ? I know the system does not use administrator / user rights, so what type of message is it giving you?
Are you attempting to download this through a network connected to a Domain?

Also if your just trying to listen to an audio clip, what is it saying it cant install.. the codec? Make sure you have the most recent version of Media Player and all its (many) updates.

But post back in regards to the contents of the Security Message its giving you.
