well my computer is jacked up and i need to re format my hard drive but i ain't got a windows xp disk to reinstall windows so i was wondering if there is a way to reformat wiht out losin my os

well wat do i do then i used to have a emachine with win xp on it so i took the hard drive and put in my new custom built comp and i ain't got no win xp setup cd

Hi,

That won't work either. You will need to buy another disk. Oh, when you decide to format, you DO LOSE ALL DATA.
