I have 2 computers, I signed up for dsl from alltel, and received a speedstream 4200 modem. I then bought another 4200 modem figuring I could have them both on, although not at the same time. They are in different parts of the house. However, Alltel will not recognize the second modem. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Take the second modem back and buy a broadband router. You'll be able to share the connection seamlessly and simultaneously.
