I received an acer aspire one as a gift, and it is running Linux. I haven't had a problem with it until recently. It seems to only be with myspace. Any time I log in, it closes my browser. That is the only site that it does that with.

I googled the problem and found this page: http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/li...oks/143778-myspace-closing-linux-firefox.html . I have searched, and could not find a terminal nor could I find "konsole". I have no idea what version of Linux I have (I am pretty much computer illiterate). Also, there is a link on there that says to go to "Files > My Documents to open the File Manager. Then go to File > Terminal." I went to My Files, and My Documents but there is no way to open File Manager from there.

Ok, I found the terminal but I still don't understand what I'm supposed to do with it.

Hi,

Welcome to TSF!!

I would start by coping this into terminal:

mv ~/.mozilla ~/.mozilla.old

then see if it works for you.

Hello, I tried that and it did reset firefox (when I reopened it, there was a welcome to firefox message). However, the browser still closes any time I try to log in to myspace. I don't get any error messages or anything. It's fine on the log in page but once I click log in, it goes to my page for a few seconds and then just closes it down. It closes any other tabs I have open too.

Hello! Myspace randomly started working today. I'm wondering if it was actually a glitch with the website rather than the computer
