Hope you really did a "clean install" and not an "upgrade".

So you haven't installed any specific drivers, such as for that card? Is this your only computer? If so try booting in safe mode with networking (usually press F8 at startup) and download Nvidia's xfx nvidia 8800 gts driver for Windows 7 Ultimate.

DP45SG drivers are here....
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Desktop+Boards&ProductLine=Intel®+4+Series+Chipset+Boards&ProductProduct=Intel®+Desktop+Board+DP45SG

That would be a good start.

Check under device manager to check for other driver issues.
Hopefully you error checked the drive before installation. Run an error check on that hard drive too.

Can you get to the desktop? Press windows key + R, the type minidump. Are there any files in there? If so use this tool to analyze the most recent dump file http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/devtools/debugging/installx86.mspx
Look on there to see where it says something about "probably caused by..."
Did you error check the drive before the install?
Any problems under Device Manager?
Does it freeze in safe mode?
