Yesterday my little sister pressed the 'reset factory settings' button on my modem and my router. My modem brand is Zhone and router is Netgear. I called customer support and they told me to change a few things on the CMD on my computer. But the only thing that did was let me use the internet while my computer is hooked up to the modem. The thing is, my sister has a laptop that she uses almost 24/7 and she needs a wireless connection. I don't know if this makes sense but I'm in a hurry. If it doesn't make sense just tell me what you need to know and I'll respond. Thank you!

If the router has been reset to factory defaults, then you will need to reconfigure the router settings. If your using DSL then remember to set the router for PPPoE, change the default login, and password and setup any wireless if you use it.
