Um a lil help here my Pc turns off when im playing Vice city every time it presents tommy why?

System Info:
OS:Windows Xp Sp2
Motherboard:MSI PM8M-V (MS-7104 v1)
CPU: Intel Celeron D 325 (2.5Ghz)
Internet: DSl
RamIMM2 512 MB PC3200 DDR SDRAM (3.5-4-4-7 @ 200 MHz166 MHz)
Video card:64mb Internal :sigh:

You should try reinstalling the game, it sounds like some of your files may be corrupted. Remember to keep your save games though.

i usualy play Vice city multiplayer and i instaled the game a fresh copy and every time i start playing like 2 minutes after my computer turns off and not the first time it happened and sometimes my computer turns off by its self when there alot of programs opened.

sorry for my english i have like 4 years without studying english since i came to DR and jest in case i was born in NY lol.

it could be a heating issue

download SIW from my signature and open it

now on the left, under Hardware, you will find "Sensors" click on it and check the CPU temperatures

go into any game other than Vice city and play for about 5 to 10 mins, exit the game and recheck the temperatures again

ok i was playing online game named Runescape and the temp was at 61ºC-65ºC/141ºF-146ºF and it didnt turn off

You can find arctic silver 5 at your local PC store or maybe even bestbuy or staples. I don't think its going to be much more than $9 but toothpaste is a very bad idea It may work for a while but I would not want to test it.
