So I bought parts for my computer but when I built it I did some things wrong, such as when I first turned it on on cardboard to see if everything was a go, I had both RAM sticks on different colors, one on yellow, one on black
so does that mean my ram sticks are fried?
than when I plugged everything in, there was a short green flash and than power was off, now nothing turns on, I just recently learned that I had my 4 pin power connector from my 20+4 pin in my CPU 4 pin power, and there was nothing next to my 20 pin connector.
This is my PSU

and this is my MoBo

so im going to return something as defective, do you think I should return RAM + MoBo + PSU? or PSU + MoBo, or just PSU?
should I be worried about my CPU?

Well there's the mistake then. Considering your PSU is at maximum Ampage on the 12V rails allowed, a little spike can easily damage your mobo/CPU. To me it sounds like a good chance you may have fried the CPU considering what you did there. I'd get a different PSU and test it with the CPU and minimum other components.
Can you test the CPU in a different mobo?

fried the CPU?
But my friend told me the CPU has no use until the XP boot up screen.
and no I cannot try the CPU on another MoBo, can I do RMA for teh CPu and report it was DOA?
also, even if I fried my CPU, there is no reason why my case fans should not turn on, so im pretty sure my PSU is fried
can I return these parts on DOA?

The CPU definatley has use. It is doing a lot of stuff when you first turn your computer on. It is involved in the POST, which is a quick check of all the components. Also, if your RAM sticks are identical, put them in the same color slot.

Ckeck...

If you get any beeps
That your RAM is seated properly. Sometimes you have to push a little harder than you would think to get RAM into the slot.
If you need to reset the CMOS. Do this by pulling the motherboard battery for at least 1/2 hour and by using the Jumpers (refer to your motherboard manual on how to do this).

I don't think its the PSU thats fried, but the CPU or less likely to me the mobo.

What you can try is put the CPU in a friends computer and see. If its the right socket, nothing will happen but either it'll work or not. If it does, great! Its not that at least. If it doesn't its dead now.

If you emailed me by any chance as most users I reply to end up doing, then it would've gone to the spam section I'm afraid without me even noticing. I get 6-9000 spam emails every day, so I won't be checking them too soon.

I think it is important that you follow the steps listed to troubleshoot defore you RMA anything. If the CPU isn't physically broken (pins, etc.) then there is a good chance it is OK.

well heres the thing, there are no broken pins on my CPU, so than how can it be fried if I cant see any damage physically?
And I would try and trouble shoot, its just that nothing turns on, so I cant even try the thing with the RAM, I am pretty sure the PSU is fried (somehow) because the first couple of times when I tried turning it on on cardboard (one time I had the thing actually start, Video Card fan, Motherboard, Case fans, and everything was going good even though I only had a 20 pin connector in, and the other Motherboard 4 pin connector in my CPU 4 pin connection) the case fans would light up the moment I plugged it in or turned the PSU on, now that doesnt happen any more
If you got any recommendations on what I can do, please post, but if not, do you think (If I have a fried CPU or Mobo) Ill be able to do the RMA?

You can't expect us to give you an answer to that when you haven't followed the good advice from Kalim and TheMatt.....that's called fishing for an answer. You havn't even looked to see if there is a reset button on the psu, the cpu does not have to show any signs of a bent or burnt oin to be fried as it only takes less than .05ma to fry a micro circuit in a cpu and mobo and a doubt you took proper esd precautions when building the system. Since you are not going to follow our advice and check things out first, just be aware that if they reject your rma's you're stuck with paying for the return shipping.
